Ringless Voicemail, sometimes referred to as a voicemail drop, is a way wherein a pre-recorded audio message is placed in a voicemail inbox without the cellphone ringing first.
This is different from a Voicemail Drop used in a power dialing campaign in smrtDialer.
Long controversial, the FCC declared in early 2022 that it will be pursuing enforcement of opt-in standards for Ringless Voicemail under the TCPA rules for contacting consumers. Because of the increasing scrutiny on opt-in and the likelihood of Ringless Voicemail being outlawed completed (similar to spoofing), smrtPhone has no plans to offer this kind of bulk communication service.
